On 13 May, in collaboration with CC De Schakel, we are organising a concert by Dijf Sanders (Bruges, 1979) in Waregem.
To celebrate the occasion, the exhibition of Mauritz Verlinden will exceptionally be open from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Be sure to visit before heading to the concert!
Dijf Sanders is a restless creator, gear enthusiast and producer who captures sounds from all over the world, grinding, distorting and fusing them with modern electronics. Together with his regular collaborator, drummer Simon Segers (Sylvie Kreusch, Black Flower, De Beren Gieren), he pushes the technical boundaries to the limit.
We will finish with Shadow Mo Trio. This groove-based jazz fusion band formed in Brussels in 2024. The trio consists of Steven Taelman (keys/synths), Felix De Clerck (bass) and Dajo Vlaeminckx (drums). Their music combines complex modern jazz harmonies with laid-back grooves and plenty of room for improvisation. Steven's compositions blend elements of jazz, hip-hop, and drum and bass, allowing the music to evolve organically — no rush, no fuss, just music to lose yourself in.
