Thomas Nolf (1986, Kortrijk) explores the human desire for escape through aviation culture, combining photography, simulated imagery, and childhood memories. His work invites reflection on the relationship between humans and aviation, examining how it serves as both a symbol of freedom and a product of romanticization and artificiality. The exhibition navigates the boundary between fiction and reality, highlighting the romanticized image of the travel industry alongside the constructed nature of photography.
Who hasn’t dreamed of flying? In this workshop, we delve into the themes of movement and aviation. Together, we explore how the concept of flying can be translated into creative designs. Participants will have the opportunity to imagine and create their own flying objects.
