Building on her Forget Me Not series (2022), Joëlle Dubois' work has evolved into a triptych of exhibitions, now brought together in this powerful monograph. Deeply moving and personal, the book explores themes of loss, grief, memory, and love, inspired by her mother’s journey with Alzheimer’s.
Through intimate imagery—ranging from self-portraits to tender moments shared with her mother—Dubois offers a poetic reflection on connection, identity, and healing. This series also marks the first time she presents striking sculptural works, while the inclusion of video stills adds another layer to the narrative. The result is a raw, honest, and consoling portrait of life, loss, and the quiet hope of renewal.
The publication coincides with the opening of her exhibition Rekindling at Be-Part Kortrijk, running from September 6 to December 7, 2025.
There is also a special limited edition of the book, available in 20 copies, each including a numbered and signed silkscreen print by Joëlle Dubois, adorned with a unique adhesive diamond on the eye.
