Visch takes the floor and, inspired by Barbara’s questions, recounts a unique artistic practice spanning nearly half a century. Through a wealth of stories, we gain an insight into the artist’s mind and are carried along on the waves of his imaginative brain. We learn who his heroes are, what he struggles with, what his view of humanity is, and where the origins of his poetic titles lie...

In addition to the many supporting images accompanying the text, the book also features an extensive visual section of sculptures and drawings, selected by Posture Editions.

Finally, the book contains a substantial photographic coverage of the solo exhibition ‘Ik was getrouwd met een aap’ [I was married to a monkey], which Visch will construct as a large-scale installation tailored to the exhibition spaces of Be-Part in Kortrijk.
